ASI Reseller Conference provides education and networking

Silver Spring, MD (March 9, 2017) – Action Systems, Inc. (ASI), a POS software developer, recently held its 16th annual Resellers Conference at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. from January 19-22, 2017. Over 170 of ASI’s resellers, suppliers and sponsors attended this event.

The company’s products, Restaurant Manager and Duet, are sold through ASI’s reseller channel, which provides local service along with POS and restaurant expertise to customers. That’s why each year ASI holds the conference with the purpose of educating its Resellers on products, the company and the industry. The conference is also to thank Resellers for the prior year’s selling efforts.

“The conference is a place where our Resellers gather once a year to gain knowledge about ASI, its products and industry intel so that they can move forward armed with tools that will allow them to win sales,” said Joe Finizio, Vice President of Sale. “With the addition of Duet to ASI’s product line, Resellers can know go out to a wider number of restaurants and serve as consultants instead of sales. The goal is to partner with these restaurants to solve their business problems and be their ‘go to’ solutions provider over the long haul.”

Educational Content
This conference theme, “it’s all about business,” provided significant opportunities for resellers to evolve with the marketplace. Whether it’s learning about Duet and Restaurant Manager, networking or leveraging the collective view of the industry, attendees benefited from timely product and business-related educational content on the restaurant industry. The conference featured new educational sessions that were well-received and had a direct impact on attendees including:

  • New product information about Duet, a feature-rich, fast and reliable tablet POS solution that offers top-of-the-line technology. Duet, which can be run either from the Cloud or from a local/on premise “Cloud/Server,” is currently being released as a controlled beta and is currently scheduled for a commercial release in the second quarter of this year. Resellers took away information such pricing, proposals, marketing and more.
  • Restaurant Manager, ASI’s traditional POS software package that is fast and flexible, was also featured. Resellers benefitted from discussions about Restaurant Manager hot topics they most wanted to learn more about.
  • ASI featured two keynote speakers who provided attendees with tips and techniques on how to grow their business. David Matthews, Senior Advisor for the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and former CIO and General Counsel for the NRA, provided a restaurant industry update that focused on what’s driving restaruant technology requirements. In addition, Bob Goldberg, attorney for the firm SFNR and legal counsel for the Retail Solution Providers Association (RSPA), spoke about today’s threats and opportunities for Resellers.
