point-of-sale (POS) industry veteran, Jay Shavitz, has been named President & General Manager at
Restaurant Manager, LLC, one of four POS brands that comprise Lighthouse Network and complement
the company’s core merchant services business. Shavitz previously served as the company’s Vice
President of Product Development and brings a wealth of experience to his new position. As President &
General Manager, he will oversee a growing integration between POS systems and payment processing

Shavitz began his career in the late 1980’s as a PC and network product specialist with C&PA in Australia.
After returning home to the United States, he took a position managing a restaurant group with locations
throughout the southeastern United States. After overseeing a POS upgrade for the business, Shavitz
decided to combine his restaurant expertise with his computer know-how and, in 1989, founded Infinity
Computer Systems, a POS dealership that served the growing restaurant market along the Carolina coast.
After representing a variety of restaurant POS applications, Infinity POS Systems began selling the
Restaurant Manager POS product line in 2000. In 2008, Shavitz sold his POS dealership to join the
corporate team working on the Restaurant Manager POS product line where he was instrumental in the
release of Restaurant Manager versions 19 and 20, including enhancements related to the PA-DSS 3.2
standards and EMV payment processing.

Under Shavitz’s direction, Restaurant Manager will continue to provide world class POS and payments
