Online Ordering address locating function issue is resolved

For some merchants, the Online Ordering (OO) Service that integrates to the Restaurant Manager POS software was experiencing problems with its address locating function from Google. This issue has now been resolved. Your Restaurant Manager Authorized Reseller has been notified and, if the temporary fix was put in place, should reverse it. If you continue to have issues with the OO address locating function, please contact your Reseller for assistance.


Online Ordering address locating function is down

For some merchants, the Online Ordering Service that integrates to the Restaurant Manager POS software currently is experiencing problems with its address locating function from Google. We are diligently working on a solution, but it will not be ready until (at the earliest) Monday, February 12, 2018. Your Restaurant Manager Authorized Reseller has been made aware of the problem. If you are experiencing this issue with your Online Ordering Service, please contact your local service provider. We apologize for any inconvenience.


RM Monitor service will be offline on December 21, 2017

In order to improve your RM experience, we are upgrading RM Monitor to a larger, more powerful server. To accommodate this improvement, your RM Monitor service will be offline for maintenance from 5:30 am – 8 am EST on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Your Restaurant Manager Authorized Reseller will not be able to change this status, but they are fully aware of the update. If you continue to experience any disruption in service after 9 am EST, you may feel free to reach out to your reseller at that time.

Restaurant Manager’s Online Ordering Service Experienced a Temporary Service Disruption on August 4, 2017

The Online Ordering Service that integrates to the Restaurant Manager POS software was offline for maintenance on the morning of August 4, but service has now been restored. If you continue to experience issues with your Online Ordering Service, please contact your local service provider.


Service disruption in RM Mapping Interface

If the Windows Task Manager on your Restaurant Manager file server lists the application as “Not Responding”, please contact your local service provider ASAP. A change was made to the Google Maps API on May 17, 2017 that requires the installation of a software patch in POS Systems configured with the RM Mapping Interface. (Please note that the cost of installing the patch will depend on the terms of your current service agreement.)


ASI’s Online Ordering Service Experienced a Temporary Service Disruption 4/15/2017

The Online Ordering Service that integrates to the Restaurant Manager POS software was offline for maintenance for about two hours on the evening of April 15th.  


Amazon AWS Outage

News outlets around the world reported a massive outage at Amazon’s AWS Cloud Computing Division on February 28th that impacted thousands of websites, including some maintained by ASI. Restaurant Manager users that rely on integrated Online Ordering and other SaaS Solutions experienced a service disruption that began at around 12:35 pm and lasted about 4 hours. If your POS System was impacted and is not yet operating normally, please contact your local reseller.
